EIGHTH ANNIVERSARY BASH: Norwood

Can you believe it’s been eight years already?! Join us in Norwood as we celebrate with brewery tours, live music, special beer releases and a damn good time with all of our favorite people!

Tickets are not required to attend the party, only to join a tour. Our brewery will open at 11am to VIP tour members, and 12pm to the public.

VIP BREWERY TOUR: 11AM

  • Ticket includes a four pack of EIGHT, variant tastings with food pairings and a private, behind-the-scenes tour with our three owners, Adam, Matt and Bill

PUBLIC BREWERY TOURS: 12PM, 4PM, 8PM

  • Ticket includes a pour on the brewery floor and guided tour of our production space

BEER RELEASES

  • EIGHT (11.8% ABV): We drifted away from the Russian Imperial Stout style for our 6th and 7th anniversaries, but we’re back for year 8, amped up, boxing gloves laced tight and mouthguard in, feet dancin. The RIS is back in the corner of the ring. Ding ding! A deep, layered grist bill provides a smooth, rich, creamy roast chocolate foundation. An extended boil in the kettle really lets the dark and caramel malts do their thing by allowing more time for caramelization and flavor extraction. Expect expressive currents of milk chocolate, dark roast coffee, light fig, and creamy sweetness.

PLUS, we’re releasing four EIGHT variant bombers!

  • TOASTED MARSHMALLOW & VANILLA: We spent the entirety of a Monday morning buying every available bag of marshmallows on Route 1 between Dedham and Foxboro and then wagoned them in to the brewery where we roasted and melted them down into a condensed, liquified syrup which was recirculated into the base stout. Add in an ample dose of Madagascar vanilla beans and here we have maybe one of the most flavorful editions of RIS we’ve ever brewed.
  • TOASTED COCONUT & VANILLA: Freshly toasted coconut and Madagascar vanilla bean deliver a flavor combination to the base anniversary stout like no other and pairs perfectly to allow this heavy and complex beer to strut a bit of tropical flair. Smooth and creamy with a sunny touch of Caribbean sweetness.
  • COFFEE (WITH LOST SHOE BREWING): We worked with our friends at Lost Shoe Brewing and Roasting Company in Marlborough to create this heartwarming variant for the early risers. Freshly ground Ethiopian and Columbian single origin coffee beans were cold steeped in order to produce a cold brew concentrate which was then blended in with the finished beer. Expect delicate but expressive notes of dark fruit, pomegranate, and chocolate roast.
  • BARREL AGED BULLY BOY RUM: Since we were already in cahoots with Bully Boy Distillers for our recent Stone’s Throw collaboration, why not add another layer to the collab and age some of the anniversary RIS in Bully Boy rum barrels. The beer spent about 3 months in their oak rum casks. Anticipate approachable round, warming notes of delicate oak and sweet campfire char with a faint, spicey sweetness.
