If you were raised in Massachusetts chances are good you’ve been to a Friendly’s before. And if you’ve been to a Friendly’s before, chances are good you’ve once indulged in one of Friendly’s signature ‘Fribbles’, or frappes. What’s a ‘frappe’? A frappe is what many New Englanders call ice cream, milk, and syrup blended together.  To pay homage to the creamy Fribble, we built a beer around the iconic New England treat. The result? Chocolate Dribble, our first-ever chocolate frappe porter.

This ice cream parlor prince drinks rich and smooth, with deep flavors of chocolate fudge and mom’s baked brownies.  Ten pounds of roasted Dominican cacao nibs were slow infused post-fermentation for about 12 hours, just before packaging, to provide that irresistible chocolate flavor wave, and fresh vanilla beans were also infused for added flavor complexity and mouthfeel.
