Since our lease started on June 1st, we've been tirelessly working towards building out our humble-yet-awesome production facility in Norwood. We knew there would be a lot of work to do: though once housing other manufacturing companies, the space wasn't exactly in "move-in" condition for a brewery. We've had to replace concrete slab, demolish obsolete HVAC systems, run miles of electrical conduit, and install a variety of support systems for our production equipment. We spent over a month's worth of nights and weekends repairing drywall, tearing out old computer tech from the 1980s, and slapping a fresh coat of paint on the walls.
But we're making progress.
We get asked all the time when we expect to open. The truth is, we simply can't say for sure. We're hoping to have beer in the tanks by Thanksgiving, but as with all construction projects there's no telling what surprise may be lurking around the corner. What we can tell you is that by the end of 2015 you'll be able to buy cans and pints of the freshest beer we know how to brew. Thanks for sticking by us. We're almost there.
