Castle Island Brewing Company is hiring a full-time Sales Representative to join the rapidly growing team at our Norwood, MA brewery and cover the Central Mass area. If you have strong relationship building skills, an outgoing and upbeat personality, excellent written and oral communication skills, and a passion for great beer, then this is your chance to be part of one of the most exciting new breweries in the area.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Create strong partnerships with on- and off-premise retail accounts
  • Develop new and existing business based within the territory
  • Manage growth of Castle Island brands, including new products
  • Maintain strong visibility in the market, especially through promos, POS, and staff trainings
  • Communicate product pricing, promotions, and market initiatives to retailers
  • Presell seasonal and rotating products into the retail channel
  • Improve product placement and ensure proper rotation
  • Execute tastings and promotional events as needed
  • Build relationships with wholesaler representatives
  • Provide real-time reporting and feedback to the Sales Manager and President


  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and iPad applications
  • Must be passionate about and have a strong knowledge of craft beer
  • Must have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have a deep understanding of the beer sales and distribution process
  • Must be reliable, trustworthy, and organized, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Must be a team player who excels in a small business environment
  • Must have own car, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record
  • Must be okay with long and/or flexible hours
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Previous sales or merchandising experience is preferred, but not required
